Southeast Alamance Standout Tyler Jackson Commits to UNC Baseball

Tyler Jackson, a rising junior at Southeast Alamance High School, has made his college decision—and it was a natural choice for the two-sport standout.

Jackson has verbally committed to play baseball at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where his father, Scott Jackson, serves as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for the Tar Heels.

His familiarity with the program and its coaching staff gave Jackson confidence that Chapel Hill was the right place to continue his academic and athletic career.

Before trading his Southeast uniform for Carolina blue, Jackson still has two years of high school competition ahead of him. This fall, he will suit up as the quarterback for the Southeast Alamance football team.
